Selected artists will receive:

A two month long artist residency in HwbClwb’s space

A fee of £800

Two opportunities to exhibit their work

Access to our sustainable fabric stash & sewing social resources

An additional materials budget of £60

Mentoring

An opportunity to produce printed work with Print Haus

An opportunity to sell their work in Arthole / HwbClwb (40% commission to Arthole, which matches their standard rate)

A trip to Recreate
What we want from you:

The production of new work utilising our reclaimed materials

Ideally, be in the space for at least 15 hours a week - but this isn’t a hard limit and doesn’t apply in the case of illness, accident or emergency.

Participation in two shows.
Optional:

A social media takeover. If you don't feel comfortable or capable to do this yourself, our team will work with you on another arrangement that publicises your practice.

To deliver a workshop or other community event. We will pay you an additional £200 to facilitate, but entry will be free / donation optional. Any additional donations will go to the artist facilitating.
